Today is my first day of studying "Curriculum and Learning Management in English". Things I have learn today is as follow :
1. There are 4 steps of register in language (4cs) English for communication, English for culture, English for connection and English for community.
2. Two main things that teacher have to be concern in teaching English language are language learning (consciousness) and language acquisition (unconsciousness).
3. In this century (21st century), English teaching should be integrated with skills 4 macro skills. English teacher have to "Think globally, act locally."
4. There are 2 difference kinds of teaching English, Deductive teaching and Inductive teaching.
5. i+1 means comprehensible input which is a very important technique for teacher in teaching English language.
To sum up, Every English teacher should be improve themselves every time. Because language is not math or science that you have a rigid rule or technique in teaching. You have to think about what can you do to improve your students? What should you do to motivate you students' ability to be success in learning English language? And what can you do to be a successful English teacher?
